Due to COVID-19, we are offering remote counselling services via audio or video conferencing. This remote service follows the Practice Guidelines for Telepsychology Services, outlined by the College of Alberta Psychologists. Informed consent and any limits of confidentiality will be outlined.
Red Deer College continues to monitor and respond to COVID-19. Find the latest information on RDC’s Novel Coronavirus webpage.
Questions may include: "What do you need support with?" or "What made you want to connect with a counsellor?", "How long have you been experiencing this?", "What are your current supports?", "What are the first signs that you are struggling?"
The Outcome Questionnaire (OQ-45) is to help track your progress. The results are kept confidential within RDC’s Counselling Services and discussing the results during a session is often valuable. To fill out the OQ-45, you will receive an email, click on the link, and fill out the questionnaire. It will then be submitted automatically. Please note that you will need your RDC student ID number (000_ _ _ _ _ _) and your date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYY) to begin the OQ-45.

Red Deer College recognizes that our campus is situated on Treaty 7 land, the traditional territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina and Stoney Nakoda peoples, and that the central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree and Saulteaux territory. We honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial, and we give thanks for the land where RDC sits. This is where we will strive to honour and transform our relationships with one another.
