Distributed Learning @ RDC

Learning can take place synchronously, with students and teachers interacting in real time from their various locations, such as through a virtual online classroom similar to a webinar.

Learning can also take place asynchronously, with students and teachers communicating at different times using online message boards, forums, and email.

Depending upon the nature of your program or course, you may even have a blended format where you may have a face to face component on campus.

All courses at RDC are offered through our Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard. Blackboard houses your course content, and only you, your instructor, and your classmates have access to your course. You will log in online to participate, and there is no fee or extra software to buy to use Blackboard.

Upcoming Events

Can't attend New Student Orientation on campus? Are you a new distance learning student? Join us for an online orientation session using Blackboard Collaborate, our real-time virtual classroom, to learn more about RDC, what to expect, and how to be prepared for your time with us.
